Nike Unite

Nike Unite is a new retail concept for the world’s largest sneaker brand, that focuses on bringing local communities closer together through Sport. 

Unite’s challenge was to distinguish its brand from the larger Nike retail ecosystem while retaining its connection to the local ethos.  Our solution was to create a set of illustrated characters that draws a connection to each retail market — giving Unite a distinct visual language only it could own.

 

Start Global

Working with the Unite Global team, we defined the character style and then created a looping animation depicting how Nike connects communities around the world through sport.



Neighborhood Character

Next we gave each local retailer a distinct voice by illustrating a set of characters that captured the personality of each city.

United across the states

We completed illustration sets for Brooklyn, Portland, San Antonio, Chicago and Atlanta. The creative was used across in-store signage, digital activations and in-store giveaways.
